Breaking News - Support from SSaT with development of Transition Portal

Breaking news - the colleges submission of a bid into the SSaT South Central Innovation Grants has been successful. The college will be receiving £1,000 to support the development of our transition portal. The college works very hard on ensuring that progress from KS2/3 is as seamless and transparent as possible. We have a transition teacher who works closely with our main feeder schools in developing the Y6 students so they are ready and prepared when they join us in September. The school has produced a case-study for the DCSF - What Works well that can be found here and has played a key role in developing "Strengthening Transfers & Transition - Partnerships for Progress" under the National Strategies. The transition portal will be an exciting development and creative use of FROG in exploring the role that emerging technologies can have in aiding and supporting transition.
