The development of web based applications are going to see some interesting developments in schools. A few weeks ago, one of my students showed me an online graphics application called Sumo Paint. This student is studying CiDA (Certificate in Digital Applications) and did not have photoshop/fireworks at home but wanted to continue with work. This application is excellent, and is one that we have embedded within FROG. All our students are now accessing this and the Art department will find it of immense benefit in supporting the GCSE course they offer students. Students can register with Sumo Paint to store saved work online, or save to a local drive/device. FROG has a huge amount of potential to deliver these types of technologies in the classroom.
